Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of ayriva.asia. They are short on purpose and say what the service does and does not do. If you use this site, they apply to you.
1. Who we are
AYRIVA is a preventive child healthcare service for children aged 0–16, operated by AYRIVA Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. (“AYRIVA”, “we”, “us”), based in Kathmandu, Nepal.
The wider AYRIVA plan spans four products — Ayriva Kids, Ayriva OS, Ayriva Labs and the Care Network. What exists today is this website: a directory of verified doctors, guest appointment booking, and forms for registering interest. The Ayriva Kids app is not released and cannot be installed.
2. Accepting these terms
By using this website — reading it, submitting a form, or reserving an appointment — you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
3. Who may use this site
You must be 18 or over to submit anything here. AYRIVA is designed for parents and legal guardians acting on a child’s behalf, not for children to use themselves.
By submitting information about a child you confirm that you are that child’s parent or legal guardian and that you are entitled to provide it.
There is no public account. You do not create a login to use this site, and there is nothing here to sign in to. Sign-in exists only for AYRIVA staff and for doctors we have verified.
4. This is not medical care, and not an emergency service
AYRIVA helps you find and reach a qualified doctor. AYRIVA does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and nothing on this site is a substitute for a consultation with a qualified professional.
Do not use this site in an emergency. If your child needs urgent care, contact a doctor or your nearest hospital directly. An appointment reserved here is a future appointment, and nobody is monitoring the site for urgent requests.
Any growth references, milestone descriptions or general health information published by AYRIVA are educational reference material drawn from recognised public-health guidance. They are not personalised advice about your child.
5. The doctor directory
A doctor is listed only after we have checked their Nepal Medical Council registration and verified their profile. Nobody publishes themselves onto that page.
Listed doctors are independent practitioners, not our employees or agents. We do not supervise their clinical practice, direct their treatment decisions, or take responsibility for the care they provide. A listing is a statement that we checked a registration — it is not an endorsement, a recommendation, or a guarantee of any outcome.
Your relationship for the consultation itself is with the doctor. Their own professional obligations, records and terms apply to it.
We may decline, suspend or remove a listing at our discretion, including where a registration cannot be verified or is no longer valid.
6. Reserving an appointment
You can reserve a time with a listed doctor without an account. When you do:
- A reservation is a request, not a confirmed appointment. It holds that time slot and places the request in the doctor’s queue. The doctor may accept or decline it.
- The clinic confirms by telephone. A reference code appears on screen when you submit — write it down. We do not send a confirmation message. This service has no SMS and no email sending, so nothing will arrive afterwards; the call from the clinic is the confirmation.
- Give a phone number you can be reached on. We do not verify it. If it is wrong, the clinic cannot reach you and the appointment will not happen.
- You cannot look up, change or cancel a reservation on this website. The reference code is not a password and there is deliberately no page that accepts one, because such a page would let a stranger read your details. Email [email protected] with your reference code and we will pass a change or cancellation to the doctor.
- Do not send medical records through the booking form. It has no field for them. One short line about why you are coming is all that is asked for, and clinical detail belongs with the doctor, not in a booking form.
- Reserve only slots you intend to use. A reservation holds real time in a real doctor’s calendar that another family then cannot book. Making reservations you do not intend to keep, or holding several at once to keep your options open, is a misuse of this service and we may cancel them.
7. Payment
AYRIVA charges you nothing for using this website or for reserving an appointment, and we take no payment online. No card, bank or payment details are collected anywhere on this site.
You pay the doctor directly, at the visit, on whatever terms they set. Their fees, their refund practice and their cancellation policy are theirs. We are not a party to that payment and cannot refund it.
8. Information you submit
Please give accurate information. We rely on what you tell us to reach you, and a wrong number or a wrong name usually means an appointment that does not happen.
You keep whatever rights you have in what you submit. You give us permission to use it for the purpose you submitted it for — replying to you, arranging your appointment, or processing your application — as set out in the Privacy Policy.
Submitting a form does not oblige us to reply, to accept an application, or to provide any service. Care Network and school applications are reviewed and may be declined.
9. What you must not do
- Submit false, misleading or someone else’s personal information.
- Reserve appointments you do not intend to attend, or make bulk or repeated reservations.
- Attempt to guess, enumerate or brute-force reference codes, or to reach another person’s information by any means.
- Use scripts, bots or automated tools against this site or its forms, or attempt to defeat the bot check or the rate limits.
- Probe, scan, overload or attempt to break into any part of the service or the systems behind it.
- Copy, scrape or republish the doctor directory or any substantial part of this site.
- Use the service for anything unlawful, or to harass or harm anyone.
We may restrict or refuse access where we reasonably believe any of the above is happening.
10. Our content
The AYRIVA name, logo, design, written content and software are owned by or licensed to AYRIVA. You may read and share our public pages, but you may not reproduce, adapt or redistribute them commercially, or build a derivative service from them, without our written permission.
11. Availability
This is an early service and we do not promise it will always be available. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it, including the doctor directory and guest booking, without notice. The site is currently served to visitors in Nepal.
The site and its content are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows — including that any information will be complete, current or uninterrupted.
12. Our responsibility, and its limits
We are responsible for operating this website honestly and carefully, and for handling your information as our Privacy Policy describes. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows:
- We are not responsible for the medical care you receive. Listed doctors are independent practitioners and their clinical decisions, advice and treatment are their own.
- We are not responsible for a missed appointment caused by an incorrect phone number, a call you did not receive, a clinic that did not call, or a doctor who declined or rescheduled your request.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, data or opportunity, arising from your use of this site.
We do not charge you anything, so a limit expressed as a proportion of fees paid would be meaningless. Instead: our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of this website is limited to a reasonable amount reflecting the loss actually and foreseeably caused by us, and nothing in this clause is intended to remove a remedy the law of Nepal gives you.
13. Privacy
How we handle information about you and your child — what we collect, who processes it, where it is stored, how long we keep it, and how to have it removed — is set out in full in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced on this site before they take effect. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the updated terms.
15. Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of Nepal, and the courts of Nepal have jurisdiction. Before anything reaches a court, please write to us — most problems are quicker to fix that way.
